What a term it’s been working with students from Holy Trinity school and Hazelwick in Crawley. We’ve explored with them, built bridges (literally – with ropes and stuff!), seen plenty of wildlife, had bonfires (with landowner’s approval of course!) and most important spent time with some fantastic young people. We’ve seen their strengths and struggles, their resilience and resistance, their energy and lethargy, but most of all we’ve seen them succeed! Each student has made progress in one way or another and some more than others. To those who have made significant improvement in their behaviour we say “well done!” To those who have gained more confidence we say, “we believed in you all along”. What a privilege it has been to work with these young people and we look forward to another term!
